May 28 through June 24, Novoměstská radnice, Karlovo náměstí 1, Praha 2. This exhibition is mostly dedicated to innovative techniques in collages. Squares, triangles and tiles are used to dissect and rearrange various motives. Various materials, variable thickness and tricky usage of glue, sand and metallic powders yield special effects. To complement such exotic techniques there is a handful of classical Chinese compositions. This exhibition was organized in the lobby of National institute of nuclear safety in April 2012. Unusual techniques were presented, mostly collages, cast colors and decoupages. The overall theme was good mood without any particular reason. Just good mood.
Veronika Vítová and trio performed the famous Duke Ellington's Take the "A" train among others.
Thanks to Dominika, Marcel and Věra who helped a lot to organize this event.
